Catalina Foothills Real Estate has evolved into a complex business that involves technology, websites, digital photography & video, marketing, negotiating, paperwork and a lot of inspiration and perspiration. The demands of the real estate business have grown beyond what an individual Catalina Foothills real estate agent can excel at on their own. The benefit of a team is that each member adds a unique talent or skill, and it shows! Our Catalina Foothills team members excel at their profession, so our clients receive exceptional personal care and professionalism throughout the purchase or sale of their Catalina Foothills home.
Nara’s passion for real estate started at a young age because her father was a custom home builder, and she grew up around the construction site. After moving to Tucson in 2000, Nara got her real estate license in 2001 and spent many years working as a site sales agent for local home builders. This gave Nara the opportunity to be involved with new communities throughout Tucson being built from the ground up. She has an in-depth knowledge of the entire building process from start to finish. This has given her a great experience for running a successful real estate team.
Nara enjoys interior design & renovation projects and has been renovating her own 1965 adobe in the Foothills for the past several years. She is also a fitness buff who loves skiing, yoga, hiking, and drinking an occasional glass of wine. Nara and her husband stay busy raising their two children ages.

Joanne grew up at the beach in San Clemente, California. While working at Air California the company asked if anyone would like to learn the new computer system that was arriving and only one person raised their hand. That started a long career in IT which included 5 years in the 90's traveling around the US and New Zealand installing hospital systems and spending the last 19 years in Ohio as a hospital CIO. When visiting her youngest son in Tucson she fell in love with the mountains and retired here in 2018. After buying a home in Oro Valley, Joanne decided she was too young to retire, got her real estate license and now works full-time as the Transaction Manager for the Nara Brown Team. Joanne enjoys traveling throughout the United States but her favorite trips to date were New Zealand, Ireland and the trip through the Panama Canal. Joanne has 2 sons and 3 grandsons who like to visit Arizona.
Valerie grew up in Massachusetts and made her way out west with a stop in Houston. She moved to Tucson in 1997 and purchased a home on the northwest side. She watched Oro Valley, Dove Mountain & Marana grow over the years as she worked in sales for an industrial tools & supplies company where she managed the Tucson & southern Arizona territory. Always having a love of real estate, Valerie got her license in 2013 & loves selling homes in NorthWest Tucson & the active adult communities, but she knows all of Tucson from Saddlebrooke Ranch to Vail from her previous career. When she is not busy helping Clients find the perfect home, Valerie enjoys interior design, classic rock and playing with her Shar-Pei dogs.
Genie was drawn to Tucson because she wanted to live the “Tucson Lifestyle." In her search for a new place to call home, she explored many different cities & states before moving to Tucson. Coming from California, she was looking for a lower cost of living, less traffic, and more open space. Here she found near-perfect weather to enjoy golfing and hiking while taking in the spectacular mountain views & the diverse wildlife. Genie decided to use the knowledge she gained from her own relocation experience, along with her skillset of helping guide people through tough life decisions, to start her real estate career in 2018. Genie specializes in helping buyers find the right community and the perfect home, so they can love Tucson as much as she does.
